The deal between you and Circleway

What Circleway actually is

Circleway matches you with other real people and schedules purposeful meetings — 1:1s and small groups. You don't browse profiles and you don't pick who you meet; Circleway decides, from what it has learned about you, and tells you why.

Every confirmed meeting is recorded and analyzed by an AI. This is not optional and not a per-meeting choice — agreeing to it is a condition of joining meetings at all. The privacy page explains exactly what is recorded, what the analysis may and may not infer, and what is deleted afterward. Read it; it is part of this agreement.

You have to be 18 or older

Circleway is for adults only. You confirm you're at least 18 when you set up your profile, and Circleway checks it. An account created by someone under 18 will be closed.

Membership and payment

• During the beta, membership is free. Nobody is charged and no card is taken.
• When billing goes live, Circleway costs $17/month, starting with a 14-day free trial. You will be told before that happens — no existing member is silently switched from free to paid.
• You can cancel anytime, from Settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your membership keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for. Circleway doesn't pro-rate a partial month.
• If the price changes later, you get notice before it applies to you, and cancelling is always the answer if you don't want the new price.

Your data, and the parts you control

What Circleway records, keeps, and deletes is covered on the privacy page. Two things are worth stating plainly here, because they're easy to assume wrongly:

• Marking a remembered fact "Wrong" disputes it — it does not delete it. The fact stays visible to you and still exists, but it carries less weight, and it can regain weight if later meetings keep showing the same thing. This is deliberate: Circleway records what it observed, and a disagreement is recorded as a disagreement rather than quietly erasing the observation.
• "Too private", forgetting a fact, deleting a meeting's recording and analysis, and deleting your account are real deletions. Those remove the data. Deleting your account also ends your membership and removes you from matching.

You can export your data from Settings at any time.

How to behave here

Circleway puts strangers in a room together on purpose. That only works if everyone treats it as a real meeting with a real person. Show up, or cancel in advance. Be respectful. Don't harass, threaten, or deceive anyone, don't use Circleway to recruit, sell, or scam, and don't record or republish a meeting yourself.

Every connection has a report-and-block control. Using it permanently blocks future matches with that person and cancels anything already scheduled between you — you never have to negotiate your way out of a bad match. Reports are reviewed. Behavior that endangers or repeatedly disrespects other members can end your membership, without refund, and can end it immediately when someone's safety is at stake.

What Circleway does not promise

• No guaranteed number of matches or meetings. Matching depends on who else is a member, their availability, and yours. There may be quiet stretches.
• No guaranteed outcome. Circleway can create good conditions for a relationship. It cannot promise you a friendship, a collaborator, or a good time — and it won't pretend otherwise.
• Circleway is not a dating service, a therapist, a recruiter, or an emergency service.
• The AI observes and reflects back what actually happened in your meetings. It does not invent facts about you or the people you meet, and it does not infer feelings it didn't observe. When it has nothing real to say, it says nothing.
• Circleway does not run background checks on members. Use ordinary judgment, and use report-and-block early rather than late.

The legal minimum, in plain words

Circleway is provided "as is." It can have downtime, bugs, and imperfect matches, and there is no warranty that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Circleway is not responsible for what other members say or do, on a call or after it. To the extent the law allows, Circleway's total liability to you is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim — and nothing here limits liability the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Either side can end this: you by deleting your account, Circleway by closing an account that breaks these terms. If Circleway shuts down or changes these terms materially, you'll be told in advance.
